Hi, my name is Lauren

I am a registered marriage celebrant with a warm heart, an open mind and a creative flare. Together we can create a ceremony that suits your own unique personalities.

Originally from New Zealand, I have been based on the Gold Coast for over 25 years. I love to travel and explore new places. Being a celebrant has taken me to places that have often taken my breath away. For this reason, I am happy to travel to the destination of your choice. NB: surcharge applies for travel outside the GC area.

When it comes to planning your wedding, I am organised and methodical. I will endeavor to assist you in any way I can.

I am a strong advocate for 'Your day, your way!' Just because it's the 'thing to do' doesn't mean it's the right choice for you. Weddings ceremonies can be anything you want them to be. As long as we include the legal requirements, we have a clean slate for everything else.

Beyond weddings, I am a very family orientated person. As a Mum of two teenage daughters, I often play the roles of dance mum and taxi mum. With a bubbly and caring personally, I love planning a get together with my friends and having a glass of wine.

Why did I become a celebrant?

I LOVE, LOVE - I know that is such a cliché but it's a feeling that creates a smile. When one is truly loved it becomes infectious and 'a smile is a curve that sets everything straight.'

Public speaking has always been something that I have been good at and have enjoyed. In my early years I was a dancer and had a passion for singing and theatre. The involvement in these arts provided me with the foundation and confidence that I have.

Because of this background, my sister encouraged me to expand these qualities and become a registered civil celebrant and to do the job I love.
